The intent of the OCS enlistment option is to attract applicants to the ARNG and provide an additional source of potential candidates for OCS. The Officer Candidate School (OCS) Enlistment option 09S should be used to entice NPS/PS applicants to the ARNG who wish to become a Commissioned Officer.
